Tithes and Offerings
Tithing and offerings are the way that we give back a portion of what God has blessed us with. The money we give back is what funds all of our church operations. Your tithes and offerings are greatly appreciated and great care is taken to ensure the Gause Methodist Church practices good stewarship of the funds entrusted to it.
There are a number of ways in which you may give to the church...
If you are in attendance at our worship services, you may place your money directly in the collection plate as it is passed through the congregation.
You may mail your checks, or have your bank mail them, to the church at POB 125, Gause, TX 77857.
Online Giving - we use the Givelfy platform for secure online giving. It is explained below.
In-Kind Donations - instead of donating money, there may be times when you wish to donate an item or service needed by the church, but for which you have no receipt. You will be given an acknowlegement for your tax records.
Donations by receipt - you may purchase items or services for use by the church. By providing the receipt, that amount, at your request, can be applied to your annual giving account.

Our online giving platform is Givelify. It is simple, secure, and easy to use.
Simply download the Givelify app for Android or iPhone. Install the app and follow the instructions, making sure to select Gause Methodist Church. Very quick and easy. After you get your account set up, then it will automatically take you to YOUR page each time you open the app.
Givelify provides a beautiful, easy giving experience using your smartphone. There are no frustrating web forms or text-to-give codes to memorize. Even better, it’s free to download and use. It’s totally safe and secure, and for tax time you have one-tap access to your complete donation records.
Website Link - just click on the blue button to the left on this page. You may do this on your computer, phone, or tablet - any device that gives you a web browser and Internet access. On your first login you will be asked to set up your donor account if you have not already done so previously on the web link or on the app. Otherwise, enter your login and password and you will be ready to donate.
SECURITY: Givelify never stores card data on your phone. Furthermore, Givelify delivers state-of-the-art, PCI Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS)-Compliant payment processing. All information is automatically tokenized and encrypted in order to communicate transactions with our merchant processor. Givelify uses industry-reviewed, military-grade encryption standards to protect all confidential and sensitive data at point of collection, during transmission and while at rest. Data transmission to and from Givelify servers is protected via sophisticated cryptographic methods including SSL.
